BeerQuest is designed to allow players to learn about beer evaluation, explore venues, participate in challenges, and track discoveries while protecting personal privacy.

BeerQuest is designed to allow players to participate without sharing personal contact information with breweries or other players.

Player email addresses and account login information are never shared with venues, sponsors,  other players or third-parties.

Participating venues only see the information necessary to run promotions and award prizes.

When players create an account, we may collect:

• Email address (used only for account login and system notifications)

• Player username or display name

• Region or location selection (for gameplay and regional challenges)

During gameplay we may collect:

• Product submissions and claims

• Ratings or tasting notes

• Quest participation and completion

• Player activity within the game

This information is used to operate the platform and provide gameplay features.

3. Information Visible to Venues and Sponsors

Venues and sponsors participating in BeerQuest may see limited information related to gameplay activity, including:

• Player usernames

• Product submissions or quest completions related to their business

• Aggregated engagement statistics

Venues do not have access to player email addresses or login information.

4. Prize Notifications

When venues award prizes, winners are notified through the in-game notification system.

i.e. If a brewery asks a player to contact them to arrange prize pickup, the player may choose to email the brewery. This communication happens outside the BeerQuest platform and is voluntary.

Players may use any email address they choose when contacting a venue.

5. Analytics and Platform Data

BeerQuest collects gameplay and engagement data to:

• improve the platform

• measure participation

• provide analytics to participating venues and sponsors

These analytics may include:

• participation counts

• quest completion rates

• visit patterns

• regional engagement trends

This information is typically presented in aggregated or statistical form.

• participating venues (game-related activity only)

Players may:

• choose their display name

• decide whether to participate in challenges

• choose whether to contact venues regarding prizes won

Players may request deletion of their account by contacting BeerQuest.
