Where to Play
BeerQuest is played at participating venues only. Submissions must be entered while at the venue where the product is served. Participating venues are identified in the BeerQuest map and venue lists.
Game Duration
Each region operates on a monthly gameplay cycle. Regional leaderboards reset at the beginning of each new month so all players have a fresh opportunity to compete.
Leaderboard resets do not affect SideQuest progress. Any quests already completed or in progress will continue until their stated deadline.
Daily Limit
To adhere to local liquor regulations and promote responsible participation, players may enter up to three submissions per day.
Submissions above the daily limit will not be accepted.
Product submissions must match the selected style category. For example, a product submitted under a Pilsner category must be a Pilsner-style product. If a submission is not accurate or cannot be verified, it may be removed and the entry will not count toward points or prize eligibility.
BeerQuest and its partners reserve the right to remove inaccurate submissions or disqualify players for behavior inconsistent with the spirit of the game.
Photo Uploads
Photos uploaded for each submission should include visual confirmation of the venue or product whenever possible.
All photos are policed by the venues and any attempt to reuse photos across multiple accounts will result in removal from any applicable draw or contest. Repeated abuse may result in a permanent ban.
Photos should include branded glassware, venue menus, coasters, or the venue environment for easy verification.
If a photo does not meet verification requirements, the submission may be removed and the entry will not count toward points or prize eligibility.
Photos submitted to BeerQuest may be used for promotional or social media purposes.
Prizes and Winning
BeerQuest offers two primary ways for players to win prizes.
Regional Leaderboard Draws
Each region (province/state) runs 1 monthly random prize draw.
Players who finish the draw period within the Top 25 positions of their region have better odds of winning.
Players improve their chances by exploring venues, discovering new products, and earning points through gameplay.
Winners will receive notifications in the game that they have been selected. They will then be prompted to visit a prize selection page where they may see all available prizes in their region and select 1 or more prizes from that pool.
SideQuest Prize Draws
Some quests are offered by participating venues or sponsors and may include a prize.
Players who complete these quests before the deadline are entered into a random draw for that specific prize.
Completing more eligible quests may increase a player's chances of winning.
SideQuests
New SideQuests may appear periodically throughout the game.
Only registered BeerQuest players are eligible to win SideQuest prizes.
Players may enter SideQuest prize draws in any region where they are actively playing. If a player travels to another region with an active BeerQuest board, they may participate in that region and enter draws there.
SideQuest winners are selected at random.
Prize Fulfillment
Where possible, venues are encouraged to provide electronic gift cards. If electronic delivery is not available, prizes may be made available for pickup by the winner, or arrangements must be made directly between the winner and the venue.
Winners will be notified through the BeerQuest notification system.
Player Conduct
Players are expected to participate respectfully toward venues, staff, and other players.
BeerQuest may suspend or terminate player accounts for behavior including fraudulent submissions, manipulation of gameplay, harassment, or misuse of the platform.
Acknowledgement
BeerQuest takes place in venues where alcohol may be served. Players acknowledge that they may enter environments where other persons may be under the influence of alcohol and that risks may exist when interacting with others.
Players acknowledge that they understand the risks associated with alcohol consumption and choose to participate in BeerQuest while understanding these risks.
BeerQuest is not responsible for player choices or actions while participating in the game.
Players are encouraged to act responsibly while visiting participating venues.
BeerQuest also asks that players be kind to themselves and to others.
